Seamlessly cast to a big screen
Anyview Cast is a free entertainment app created by Spring Tech Apps to allow you to easily video cast various multimedia on your device to your smart TV. You only need a wireless connection such as your Wi-Fi and Bluetooth between both your device and smart TV and you're good to go.
Using Wi-Fi or Ethernet, Anyview Cast enables your device to show a variety of multimedia files including images, music, movies, and other media from a variety of devices, including phones, tablets, and laptops. With the help of these capabilities, you can share nearly anything with a broader audience.
Also works with non-smart TVs
Anyview Cast works not just with smart TVs, but also for regular TVs so long as you have a Chromecast device available. To use the app, ensure that your phone and TV are connected to the same Wi-Fi network, enable the Miracast Display option on your TV settings, and the Wireless Display option on your mobile phone settings. Once done, select your TV on the app to enjoy screen mirroring.
The app is also available in five languages: Portuguese, English, French, and Italian. It utilizes a look similar to Google's Material Design, giving it a very intuitive and refined interface that's uncluttered and easy to navigate. Furthermore, the app's straightforward UI also makes it easy to pair different devices as it saves you time figuring out each icon or feature.
However, the app doesn't pack a lot of features as it only serves its purpose of casting multimedia from your smart device to your TV, losing to a disadvantage toward other similar titles such as Google Home, AirDroid Cast, AirScreen, and ApowerMirror. There's also no support for playing in higher resolutions such as 4K or 8K, making it a hassle to watch graphic-intensive media such as 3D films.
Barebones screencasting
Anyview Cast works with both smart and non-smart TVs with Chromecast, allowing you to stream content on a bigger screen without purchasing a separate device. However, it still lacks advanced features and does not support higher resolutions, making it unsuitable for graphic-intensive media such as 3D films, lagging the app behind its competitors. Still, it's a good option for those looking for a simple screen mirroring app.
